The
Temecula Valley Branch is pleased to offer partial scholarships to
deserving students of MTAC teachers in the TV - MTAC branch.
Scholarships are given for partial lesson costs, and for participation in the CM program.
You will find the application forms for the school year and summer scholarships ready to download below. Please read the rules and regulations, prnt the fom, fill it out, and present it to the scholarship chair person, whose contact information is on the form.
For scholarships towards lessons:
1. The student must have had at least 3 months of lessons with the MTAC teacher.
2. The teacher of the student must be a member of MTAC in good standing.
3. If the student discontinues lessons with the teacher, the remaining dollar amount should be returned to the branch secretary within two weeks of the student's discontinuation.
4. Winners can apply more than once.
5. The student must participate in at least two MTAC Musicale during the time of the scholarship.
6. The winners will be chosen as a result of a review of each application and vote by all board members.
7. Winners will be chosen twice a year near the start of the general school year semesters.
8. Winners will be notified shortly after the due date.
9. Teachers must report lessons taken, and attendance of the student by the following dates:
- December 15th for recipients receiving scholarship for fall semester.
- June 15th for students receiving scholarship for spring semester.
10. Teachers of applicants are encouraged and suggested to donate time or match the scholarship given to the student.

Summer Scholarship Information:
1. The student must have had at least 3 months of lessons with the MTAC teacher.
2. The teacher of the student must be a member of MTAC in good standing.
3. There is a 9 lesson minimum requirement to be eligible.
4. Winners can apply more than once.
6. The winners will be chosen as a result of a review of each application and vote by all board members.
7. Winners will be chosen at the May board meeting each year.
8. Applications are due each year on April 29th. Winners will be notified shortly after the due date.
9. Teachers must report lessons taken, and attendance of the student by September 1st.
10. Teachers of applicants are encouraged and suggested to donate time or match the scholarship given to the student.
The next summer scholarship application due date is: April 29, 2011
Certificate of Merit Scholarships:
We offer a
limited number of Certificate of Merit scholarships for students that
cannot participate in CM due to financial restraints. These
scholarships are by teacher recommendation only. There are no forms to
fill out, just submit your request via email to Kara Wuchner by Oct.
15th. Notification will be made by November 2nd. If your student is
chosen, you will deduct the amount from your CM Student Fees when you
submit your personal check with your CM registration.
